Export Licensing Specialist Derco Aerospace, Inc., an industry-leading aerospace distributor of hardware and services is seeking an Export Licensing Specialist to join its Contracts & Compliance Department. The candidate will work with a group of legal and import/export control professionals to facilitate, analyze, authorize, and assess compliance with U.S. import and export laws and regulations, particularly related to the export of hardware, technical data, and defense services. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out complicated export licensing tasks with limited direction from his/her direct supervisor. The candidate will assist in the management of the export licensing activities related to both Commerce and State Department export authorizations for the Derco family of companies. A strong knowledge of the current U.S. Government regulations pertaining to import and export controls is a must in order to assess and analyze the requirements of the export of parts, technical data, services, and aircraft. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in the following subject areas: Incoterms, ITAR Exemptions, DSP-5, DSP-6, DSP-61 and DSP-73 ITAR licenses, ITAR Technical Assistance Agreements, ITAR Warehouse and Distribution Agreements, US Customs Entry/Exit Requirements, Export Recordkeeping, and Export Classification (ECCN and USML). Bachelor's degree or higher preferred. Candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in the Export Compliance field. Import experience is a plus. Limited domestic and international travel may be required. As a member of a service department, the successful candidate must also be able to balance the requirements of our internal clients and external partners, while keeping the goals of the company firmly in mind, and possess the following skills:
