Faculty, Associate Degree Nursing # 20573: Lone Star College System

Hiring Range:
Starting salary is commensurate with educational qualifications and experience. In addition to base salary, Associate Degree Nursing faculty members receive $1,000 stipend per month of contract length, up to $12,000 per year.

Position Summary:
Provides the learning activities and support that lead to the achievement of the course objectives and contribute to the educational environment of the college and the community. The faculty member's role encompasses the general areas of learning facilitation, personal and professional development, and institutional and community service. Primary responsibilities are to plan, develop, and teach courses within the curriculum in a manner that facilitates student learning.

Required Qualifications/Education Campus Specific:
Master's degree in Nursing or a Masters degree with 6 graduate hours in Nursing from an accredited college. Must have degree completed by December 2009. Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Texas. Competent as a generalist in nursing with a minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience.
