May perform one or more of the following:
Functional Senior Analyst
(4+ years experience; B.S. - Bus Admin, Comp Science or related degree)
Individual must posses student loan servicing and data analysis experience in system or loan processing operations, work independently, provide independent analysis and objective observations regarding this project’s systems, loan servicing operations and portfolio performance.
May perform one or more of the following:
· Analyze and report on the performance and condition of student loan accounts.
· Identify portfolio trends, characteristics and factors impacting performance and risk areas.
· Identify and prioritize actions, initiatives and recommendations to improve portfolio performance based on effectiveness and efficiency.
· Present results to Management and operational units.
· Provide subject matter expertise and support to Delinquency Management and other project teams.
· Help the project teams to work toward lowering delinquency and default rates.
· Perform other related, assigned tasks assigned to help identify and analyze portfolio performance, and fraud, waste and abuse.
· Analyze, plan and help implements improvements.
· Develop metrics that provide data for process and operational management and indicators for future improvement opportunities.
· Measures performance against requirements and objectives, aligning improvement projects to close performance shortfalls.
· All other duties as assigned.
Special Requirements: Proficient in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
