We seek a Vice President and National Sales Manager that will be responsible for defining and executing a strategy to meet and exceed company financial goals, drive profitable growth, as well as building client satisfaction and loyalty. The Vice President and National Sales Manager will be responsible to build, lead, and empower sales teams in various regions of the country charged with selling the Open Solutions Lending Solutions to new clients as well as manage and maintain annual revenues from a large existing account base in North America.

As our Vice President and National Sales Manager, you will:

  • Design, develop, and implement strategic sales & marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products, services, revenue, and profitability
  • Build a world class sales team by recruiting, training and coaching new hires
  • Ensure the team generates a pipeline consistent with exceeding objectives
  • Drive overachievement of revenue targets
  • Personally lead key sales to closure
  • Ensure the organization delivers against customer commitments externally
  • Develop relationships with senior client executives
  • Communicate product requirements to our product management group
  • Develop account targeting and penetration strategies to protect and grow business with new and existing clients
  • Establishing relationships with 3rd party influencers
  • Oversee proposal preparation
  • Approve RFP responses
  • Approve and attend product demonstrations
  • Provide accurate and timely weekly forecast updates to management
  • Plan and coordinate Client Road Shows as required
  • Support conference and convention participation - Trade shows, client meetings, etc.
  • Prepare and deliver corporate presentations
  • Establish relationships with banking groups and associations

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10 to 15 years of sales and/or sales management experience in the financial services information market sector
  • Minimum of five years management experience, preferably managing direct sales
  • Bachelor level degree with advanced level degree desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all management levels both internally and externally
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong communications skills, both written and spoken
  • Executive presence to represent the company at all levels within the industry
  • Flexibility to travel extensively in support of sales efforts
  • P/L, budget and forecasting experience
  • A history of successes in building and maintaining an effective, productive and quota-delivering sales force
  • Has been personally responsible for closing multi-year profitable contracts
