| Job Description: BROAD FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION:
• Responsible for weekly and monthly dashboard development and publishing.
• Providing insight and analysis on dashboard metrics, and provide analytic support to supply chain projects.
• Maintain and publish Cost to Serve report including analysis and support for users.
• Support Transportation Finance group located in San Francisco with operational analysis as needed.
• Participate in Supply Chain projects as needed.
• Must be a self starter and have the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks at the same time.
• Effective communicator both internally within Supply Chain group as well as other areas of the Company and even external to Del Monte.
• Must be very detail oriented and perform proper level of diligence to ensure accuracy of the reports.
• Must demonstrate ability to draw meaningful conclusions from data and recommend
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and publish on time accurate supply chain dashboards and Cost to Serve Report.
2. Provide insight into dashboard trends and metrics not achieving goal.
3. Identify areas of opportunity to achieve supply chain efficiency and reduce cost especially through analysis of the Cost to Serve.
4. Support relationship between Transportation Finance in SFO and Transportation Operations.
5. Provide analytic support to supply chain team and participate on supply chain project teams
6. Maintain data integrity and accuracy in all databases and data warehouses utilized by supply chain team
7. Identify and correct issues relating to timeliness and accuracy of scorecards and dashboards
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance or Operations Management
Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years
Special Requirements: Excellent MS Access and Excel skills, knowledge of supply chain concepts and key measures, excellent communication and presentation skills, solid finance acumen, familiarity with statistical management techniques such as process control, variability, defects vs. averages.
