GENERAL SUMMARY
Ensures information access and server infrastructure performance and integrity. Ensures consistency and synchronization across server platform and integrates other infrastructure components. Follows operational procedures for maintaining and upgrading server platforms. Involved in supporting new and existing applications. Works closely with development organization, providing input to SW architecture. Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems and is regarded as a knowledgeable in one or more system platforms.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and maintain host-based storage configurations.
Utilizes technical knowledge in cross-functional and intra-departmental efforts.
Implements fixes for system performance issues.
Monitors the technical environment to ensure it is problem free.
Deploys new servers in accordance with practices and standards.
Assists with the design of the computing infrastructure.

SKILLS
7-10 years experience with Systems Architecture in a cloud technology environment
Expert level knowledge of Linux OS, Debian/Redhat preferred
Strong experience with networking, Cisco routers/switches/firewalls
Perl programming experience required
Knowledge of Ruby on Rails strongly desired
Experience NAS/SAN storage architecture required
Strong problem solving skills.
Solid communication skills.
Strong technical aptitude.
