The Enterprise Solutions Group (ESG) enables field personnel in North America Sales and Consulting to identify new opportunities and develop a larger, more qualified pipeline; execute opportunities more efficiently; turn opportunities into closed deals more frequently; ensure that each closed deal is as large and broad in scope as possible; increase their stature in accounts; and provide vision and leadership in enterprise architecture. ESG accomplishes this mission in the most efficient possible manner by providing a centralized model for the delivery of key tools, subject-matter expertise, highly scalable shared services and targeted programs and initiatives.
The Oracle Insight Program is a comprehensive business strategy development program in which select customers work closely with Oracle business and IT strategy experts to identify the critical objectives and challenges for their unique business needs and understand how technology can help address. The Insight Program was created to bring Oracle's deep industry experience, technical skills, and extensive knowledge of business and IT issues directly to customers in a one-on-one collaborative setting. Leveraging industry frameworks and best practices such as SCOR for Supply Chain or ITIL for Data Centers, Oracle Insight helps identify the capabilities needed to transform business or IT operations and quantifies the financial impact that can be achieved with these capabilities.
Responsibilities
As an Insight Program Director (IPD), you will be responsible for working with customer executives and Oracle field sales teams to identify comprehensive business solutions from infrastructure through business processes in your assigned accounts. This highly visible role requires excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
The IPD assembles and leads cross functional teams to identify, validate, and document customers’ business problems that can be addressed by Oracle products and services. The IPD is responsible for the entire Insight process. This begins with working with the customer and sales team to identify Insight opportunities, jointly creating the project plan with the customer, facilitating the discovery and solution development sessions, creating the deliverables to presenting the final deliverables to the customer. This role will focus on large or complex sales opportunities requiring creative and complex solutions. Additionally, the IPD acts as a community leader by developing productivity tools and training for other IPDs and Sales Consultants.
Preferred Qualifications
Insight work is very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
Position Location: Open / Virtual + Travel Travel Component: approx. 60% travel To effectively fill this role, the preferred candidate may be required to travel up to 60%.
