FLORIDA CAREER COLLEGE is seeking qualified individuals to become full time and part-time faculty members. Most full-time faculty members work a four (4) day work week, Monday through Thursday. Classes are conducted 9am-1pm and 6pm-10pm. Job Purpose:
Promotes and nurtures the education of students by planning and tailoring courses of study according to curriculum guidelines and state requirements; monitors, assists with, and corrects academic efforts; provides a safe environment conducive to learning.
Skills/Qualifications:
Lauderdale Lakes:
- Computer Hardware/Networking FT/PT-Certifications in MCSE, MCP required
- Linux Instructor P/T
Pembroke Pines:
- Full Time/Part Time. Certification in CCNA required.
Hialeah :
- Full or Part Time opportunities in these areas:
- Computer Repair: A+ certification required.
- Networking: Net+ or MCP required.
- Applications: MS Office and Web Development
West Palm Beach:
- Full or Part Time opportunities in these areas:
- Website Administrator-creative personality, Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Publisher, HTML.
- Networking-MCSE, MCSA or MCP certification required.
- Computer Repair-A+ certification required.
- Microsoft Office Application-MOS certification preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in the industry required.
- Teaching experience helpful.
- Bachelor's Degree in I.T.or Computer Science required or MS Degree in IT preferred.
- Transcript required.
- Local candidates preferred.
- Clear background and drug screen required.
