Gexpro is seeking to fill an Outside Sales role focused on the Industrial business segment in Nashville, Tennessee. Responsibilities: · Meet or exceed budgeted GE and non-GE sales and gross margin targets with assigned industrial accounts · Develop account plans/penetration strategy using formal Gexpro tools with branch manager approval · Use Six Sigma methodology to grow sales profitably · Perform all aspects of selling to maintain and develop new or existing customers including: take-offs, project quotations, closing orders, preparation of submittals and resolving customer problems Requirements: · Electrical product knowledge; including lighting, switchgear, controls and electrical commodities · Demonstrated knowledge of electrical distribution or other electrical sales environments · Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate on all levels within internal and external groups · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Excellent team player · Strong organizational skills · Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines. · PC skills including familiarity with automated order entry systems and PCs running Microsoft Windows-based software. · Associate or Bachelors degree or technical school training Desired: · 2 years of Inside sales experience in Contractor and/or Industrial markets. · Familiarity with automated order-entry systems · GE Product Knowledge · Knowledgeable and current about market, customers and vendors Gexpro is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
