Manufacturing Engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will:

· Provide manufacturing support to all product areas, assisting shop floor teams in resolving manufacturing and quality issues.

· Utilize lean principles to implement process improvements in all aspects of the operation, including production flow and workstation layout and tooling

· Develop and maintain production work instructions, validation processes, and standard operating procedures in accordance with customer and quality systems (FDA, ISO) requirements.

· Maintain material master data

· Perform time studies, determine standard rates, and recommend productivity improvement initiatives

· Interface with R&D, Quality, and Sales organizations

· Support new product transition into assembly

· Support local sourcing activities

· Plan and manage capital improvement projects

· Manage all technical equipment and facility maintenance

Qualifications:

· B.S. in Engineering and 2 – 5 years of relevant work experience in engineering and manufacturing.

· Experience with quality systems (ISO, FDA)

· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement processes

· Working knowledge of MS Office

· Knowledge of SAP (or similar MRP environment) and CAD Software preferred

· German language a plus, but not required
