Patient Service Representative (part-time)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Work with patients by in person and by telephone. Assist them with securing benefits from Medicaid and charity programs. The goal is to help them receive coverage for their medical related expenses. Work with the agencies that provide the benefits and serve as a referral base for other services found in the community. Other duties will be assigned by management.
The schedule for this position is part-time days working an average of 31 hours Monday-Friday.
This is the perfect schedule for a college student looking to get some experience in social services.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Medicaid program knowledge is a +
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) is an added bonus
- Social Service experience is helpful
- Must be a good communicator
- Must have strong communication/customer service skills
- Must be willing to part-time
