Attorney Recruiting Manager

The Chicago Office is seeking an Attorney Recruiting Manager. The Manager will be responsible for all aspects of hiring lateral associates and summer associates for the Chicago Office, as well as planning and overseeing the Firm’s Summer Associate Program in Chicago. The Manager will report to the Firm’s Director of Attorney Recruiting and Development and the Firm’s Hiring Partners in Chicago and will supervise the Recruiting Coordinator and Recruiting Assistant. The Manager will also be a resource for the recruiting personnel in our smaller offices. We have a dedicated and collegial staff in Chicago who don’t just work together; we help and encourage each other to do the best job possible and grow professionally. We are looking for someone who is creative and adventurous, who is interested in helping drive the policies and procedures of the Firm, and who wants to be part of a team and support the development of those around them.

Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably with at least 2 years management experience within a legal or professional services enviornment. Candidates must have superior interpersonal and communication skills, be highly organized and detail orientated, be able to maintain effective relationships with a diverse group of attorneys, candidates, law school personnel, clients and staff, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment (and be able to do so while communicating with courtesy and diplomacy). Ability to maintain professional and strict confidentiality in all client and Firm matters and otherwise exercise impeccable judgment is a must.
