Director of Software Engineering E-Commerce Startup

WANTED: Exceptionally Talented Director of Engineering to join a world-class team at very profitable eCommerce startup company. Unusual opportunity for you to take their development teams to the next level and a singular opportunity for professional growth and leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Management of design and implementation of all product components
-Oversee development teams, maintain project schedules, assign engineering tasks
-Architect the migration of the development environment to a new platform
-Foster the professional growth of your teams in a fast-paced team environment
-Partner with product management to develop new product delivery
-Own the QA process and the testing process
-Assist other teams such as network operations and customer support, as needed


REQUIREMENTS

-Degree in Computer Science
-Extensive experience developing web applications for eCommerce
-5+ years formal hands-on technical management
-Knowledge of Java, OOD, MySQL, RSS, Hibernate
-Excellent hands-on design and implementation skills
