We currently seek a high calibre Maintenance Planner to work on a contract to possible direct hire basis. Based in Carney's Point, New Jersey, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement & construction companies.
Job Description:
• Producing project work breakdown structures and planning baselines
• Integrating subcontract plans/schedules with project master plans/Schedules
• Resourcing and cost loading, integrating costs and cost estimates with plans
• Recommending solutions or recovery plans/schedules to delays or plan/schedule impact
• Analyzing variances in cost and schedule performance against plans
• Supporting maintenance and project work by planning, estimating, and coordinating approved work orders.
• Identifies the correct facility or equipment needing work.
• Step-by-step details of work tasks.
Parts, materials, special tools, and equipment.
Estimated labor-hours
• Provides close liaison with production managers and supervisors, other maintenance clients, maintenance supervisors, maintenance engineers, other planners, and schedulers
• Job requires walking and ability to scale ladders and scaffolding as well as wear area specific PPE including Nomex clothing
• Responsible for understanding the entire Code of Conduct and complying with its requirements
• Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
• BS in Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years planning experience on maintenance projects
• Proficiency with Primavera
• Good written and oral communication skills
