New Project Manager position available at OUP in NYC!



Pulitzer Prize winner, Oxford University Press, Inc., has a unique position available for a Project Manager to focus on business process improvement. The Process Improvement Project Manager will work with members of the process improvement team and senior management to identify opportunities to improve organizational processes across the business, with the ultimate goal to improve product quality and optimize revenue opportunities. The position will act as the project lead for process improvement activities, including methods and processes.

The position requires a 4-year degree and at least 2- 4 years of project manager experience, preferably with a process engineering and change management background, or equivalent work experience. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and manage complex cross- functional business process projects is a must. Project management training and practical experience running complex projects must be evident. Broad business knowledge and knowledge of quality management programs (e.g. Sigma, TQM) preferred. Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and teamwork skills are essential. Publishing experience is a plus, Should be equally adept working as a member of a team, in a leadership role, or solo capacity. This person should also be a self-starter and a track record that demonstrates personal initiative and drive to succeed. Highly Proficient in MS Excel, Visio, MS Word and MS Project (or equivalent).
