The Opportunity
The Assistant Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring productivity, quality, cost targets and safety standards are met or exceeded while coordinating production within budget parameters. This includes the development of budget and cost controls, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Requirements Qualified Candidates for the Assistant Plant Manager position will have a BS/BA degree in Food Sciences or Business Management (desired but not required) MUST HAVE at least 3-5 years of current Production Management and/or Plant Management experience from within a USDA Meat Manufacturing Facility. Candidates MUST HAVE a solid and stable work history in order to be considered. At this time, ONLY candidates with a USDA Manufacturing background will be considered.
