UnitedHealth Group has submitted a proposal in response to the TriCare Managed Care Support Contract Solicitation (also known as the "T-3 Solicitation"). TriCare is the health care program serving active duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, retirees, their families, survivors and certain former spouses.
As a potential government contractor, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF85P.

Position Description:
This position is for a member of the core team responsible for testing the Encounter capabilities for TriCare. The Encounter platform is a strategic component of the TriCare program and has high visibility within the organization. This application will be high volume transactional platform driven by complex rules and business processes.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

:

  • 4+ years experience developing, deploying and supporting testing for complex computing applications in a large scale environment
  • Tricare experience or familiarity with Tricare systems a plus
  • Experience in the Healthcare Industry, Claims processing and/or encounters (Medicare, Medicaid or TED) environment is preferred
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum project is preferable
  • Experience in performing the full range of test execution activities, including developer / unit testing, functional, performance / load / capacity, regression, integration, user acceptance
  • Experience with testing complex rules implemented using rules engine(s); iLOG preferred.
  • Experience with Quality Center required
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills demonstrated through successfully leading large and complex change initiatives
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
