Position Description: The Sr Database Administrator will work as part of a team to provide database administration support for all Oracle-based corporate and Oracle Application 11i environments. This support includes application of all patches and upgrades, cloning, configuration management of all associated software, troubleshooting and analysis associated with the daily administration, maintenance of multiple databases across multiple servers, and collaboration with software developers and business analysts in implementation and testing of database modifications. The individual in this role will need to have a solid grasp database technologies/architecture. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors Degree in MIS or equivalent working experience. Related Work Experience: Minimum of 7 years in IT related fields with 6 years direct experience in multiple platforms working with Oracle RDBMS releases 9i and 10g with proficiency in Backup and Recovery, Database Tuning, SQL Tuning, and Database Security as well as experience support both web and client server applications.
