The Senior Network Pricing Consultant:
- Supports and validates Provider Network (physicians, hospitals, and ancillary facilities) contracting and unit cost management activities through financial and network pricing modeling, analysis, and reporting. Network includes Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid products.
- Conducts unit cost and contract valuation analysis in support of network contracting negotiations and unit cost management strategies.
- Manages unit cost budgets, target setting, performance reporting, and associated financial models.
Your primary responsibilities would include:
- Modeling provider contracts for Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid products
- Working with internal contracting staff
- Analyzing and modeling unit cost increases
- Analyzing the impact of updating contracts

Qualifications
Requirements
· Experience in healthcare pricing analysis required.
· Knowledge of DRG, APC, Revenue, CPT, and Diagnosis Codes required. AHCCCS Reimbursement knowledge preferred.
· Ability to effectively communicate and articulate intricate financial strategies with various levels of management.
· In depth knowledge of provider payment methodologies and healthcare products.
· Prior experience in hospital and physician group modeling a plus.
· Demonstrated expert-level Excel spreadsheet capability (formula-writing) and Access Database skills. Intermediate SQL skills required.
· Bachelor's degree or 5+ years industry/pricing experience required. MBA preferred.
· Ability to interpret and review financial modeling results to evaluate the financial impact of contract changes and develop forecasts.
· Strong analytical and detailed orientated background.
· Ability to be flexible and work under tight deadlines.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
