Main Function
To support the Equities and Prime Brokerage desks by reviewing the tax treatment and classification of various products and answering questions.

Main Duties
Support the Equities and Prime Brokerage desk with developing and issuing products in the market. Review tax disclosures. Institute procedures and monitor tax risk on the various products, including working with Tax Ops, Legal and Compliance. Support the tax department with various research products. Monitor tax legislations for new laws that may effect Barclays business lines.

Person Requirements
Essential
  • Juris Doctorate
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6-7 years in a top tier law firm working on capital market transactions.
  • Experience in capital markets

Preferred

  • Juris Doctorate and CPA
  • 7-8 years in a top tier law firm and experience in the investment banking industry or top tier hedge fund
  • Speaks Spanish
