Territory may be defined by geography, product, channel, or specific accounts Responsibilities Establishes and maintains contact and rapport with employees, customers, prospects within assigned area. Helps with difficult customer problems and participates in important negotiations with key customers. Assists in training sales representatives. Formulates sales plan for assigned accounts and inputs to sales strategies for District. Ensures forecasts are met.. Works closely with senior members of the team to learn EMC best practices and EMC messaging. Assigns and manages territories and/or accounts. Hires, trains and manages a group of field sales representatives Manages and develops multiple reps in a large territory. Assigns and manages territories and/or accounts Experience and Education Must be a proven Sales Manager Ability to grasp technical data and communicate to a broad range of technical people. Familiarity with Software, Hardware and O/S. Storage Knowledge is helpful.
