Citrix / Microsoft Consultant; System Integrator; Systems Architect: DynTek

DynTek Services is looking to immediately identify candidates who may prefer a contract or contract to hire consideration.

Position Summary:

The Senior Consultant is an experienced and seasoned individual contributor, responsible for delivering expert service and solutions to clients and continuing to develop core consulting skills and becoming proficient with one or more relevant technologies. The position requires an individual to use advanced skills in consulting methodology, server infrastructure concepts, documentation standards and organization, time management, Citrix products and technologies, software configuration, and networking skills on client engagements. The Senior Consultant must be able to individually solve problems proactively and seek help from more experienced team members or other available sources (e.g. internal and external knowledge bases, manuals, and vendors.) when necessary. The position requires a senior team player that seeks to supplement their skills through the use of project experience, self-study manuals, and other required training. Superior written and verbal communication skills are also required.

Primary Accountabilities:

The Senior Consultant is responsible for general project activities and typically works on complex problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data can require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. The individual exercises superior judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.

The primary duties for this position include but are not limited to:

· Demonstrate superior ability to complete assigned tasks on time and on budget, as well as initiative to expand level of responsibility.

· Develop solid working relationships with client team members.

· Develop project deliverables with little direction from Practice Director.

· Participate in weekly and monthly team events and practice meetings.

· Follow up and provide excellent written documentation.

· Balance independent problem solving with proactive, organized requests for support from more experienced team members.

· Improve consulting foundation skills.

· Further develop technical skills by proactively seeking to expand knowledge and skills through use of books, manuals, and other materials.

· Assists with coaching/mentoring of junior staff.

· Professional conduct/presence at client at all times.

· Develop solid working knowledge of Citrix and other company practice technologies.

· Demonstrate solid understanding of service offerings and ability to communicate their value to clients, team members and other vendors.

Typical project roles would include:

· Team lead

· Any technical consultant duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· The Senior Consultant must have excellent academic achievement and good communication skills. The individual must be flexible, dependable, and capable of learning new products and technologies. The Senior Consultant should have a thorough understanding of the latest Citrix technologies, application architecture and compatibility within the access infrastructure delivery model. Above average understanding of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems software, proficiency in common office productivity software such as Microsoft Office. The Senior Consultant should also have thorough knowledge in or experience with popular enterprise software products and technologies, or demonstrate the ability to quickly obtain this knowledge. The individual should also have thorough knowledge of networking technologies.

Requirements:

Position requires Citrix certifications CCEA and point-product training such as CAG, AAC, or NetScaler. A Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience is preferred and knowledge of system architecture and/or programming languages. Must also have a positive customer service attitude and be willing to travel regionally 70-80% of the time, although most travel is local to Southern CA.
