Specific Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Senior Director of Operations for the most complex, strategic and profitable clients, managing the ongoing clinical delivery of programs and services to assigned clients.
  • Manage multiple operational teams for the delivery of the clinical programs, including case management, disease management, and utilization management.
  • Contribute to growth and profitability by ensuring programs provide exceptional clinical value and medical cost management.
  • Own all ongoing operational metrics, clinical outcomes, accreditation compliance and financial commitments.
  • Consult with senior leadership and healthcare consultants to identify innovative strategies and tactics for operational excellence.
  • Develop action plans, monitor progress against plans, identify and prevent service quality issues.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to client-specific requirements.
  • Lead and develop people, bringing in the right talent, fostering teamwork, inter-departmental collaboration, and employee engagement
  • Lead effective business meetings with site leadership, staff and internal/external partners.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or higher.
  • 7+ years of Director-level or above management experience, with at least 3 years beyond hospital-based directorship, such as Managed Care or Community-Based Organization.
  • Experience managing staff within a healthcare organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and innovation.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute flawlessly on operational deliverables, to include developing action plans to accomplish goals and providing ongoing updates on progress.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a successful, professional organizational structure and operate successfully within provided parameters.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve operational problems that directly impact client satisfaction and/or clinical outcomes.
  • Strong experience within a metrics-focused environment, to include working with financial performance guarantees.
Desired Qualifications:
  • A valid, unrestricted RN license in the state of TX.
  • Master's degree or higher.
  • Experience managing clinical staff.
  • Experience with the delivery of customized programs.
  • Managed care experience.
