QUALIFICATIONS:
· A BS or BA is required and an MBA or CPA is strongly preferred
· Minimum of 7 years experience in Finance, having held positions of increasing scope and responsibility, including at least 2 years experience as a senior-level business partner for a business unit
· Cross-functional experience required
· Prior people management experience required
· In depth knowledge of Hyperion and Microsoft tools (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word)
· Prior experience in retail or service industry is desirable
· Prior e-commerce support is desirable
· Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities, strong communication skills, ability to work effectively cross functionally, resilient and flexible style and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast paced environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for decision support activities for the e commerce platform including the online DIY and the online Commercial businesses.
· Business partner to the SVP, General Manager – e-commerce and a key partner to the e-commerce leadership team providing consultation and focus on strategic and tactical operational and financial issues.
· Lead or support specific projects identified as high priority by the e-commerce executive team. Projects can be strategic or operational in nature, focused on specific outcomes such as optimization plans, new capabilities and evaluation of long term direction
· Lead the development of business/financial case for specific initiatives and/or capital investments. Examples might include partnering with business leads and IT to develop the business case for systems capabilities/IT investments
· Provide specific expertise in areas such as valuations, long range business planning, and scenario/option evaluations/analysis
· Provide guidance to e-commerce leadership teams to define appropriate performance metrics and budget commitments
· Provide tracking and visibility to financial results to maintain progress toward goals
· Provide ad-hoc analyses and project support on strategic insight into key trends, drivers and results
· Proactively identify tactical opportunities for the business units, communicate findings, develop recommendations, and present them to senior management
