Principle Structural Engineer

Earth City / St. Louis

Corporate engineering support of structural engineering aspects of capital projects in a manufacturing / pharmaceutical plant environment including:

- Providing engineering expertise for analysis, design and construction of structures and structural supports.

- Provide facility conditions assessments.

- Interfacing with other engineering disciplines, outside engineering firms, vendors, contractors, project managers, and plant personnel effectively

- Assisting with development of projects scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and material and construction specifications.

Minimum Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 8 years experience in structural analysis and design. Professional Engineering licensee preferred, Engineer-In-Training certification as a minimum

Experience should include construction elements of concrete, structural steel, masonry and wood. Experience in structural condition assessments and designing

of structural systems retrofits needed. Knowledge of structural engineering analytical and design software as well as Microsoft Office Suite programs. Strong knowledge of national building codes, especially International Building Code. Project management experience helpful but not required
