Harden Healthcare Services is seeking a Payroll Manager with Strong PeopleSoft skills. Harden Healthcare Services is seeking a Payroll Manager with strong PeopleSoft skills for our North Austin Resource Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees the accuracy of time keeping & payroll processing for growing, multi-site company with >25,000 employees.
- Manage staff responsible for processing weekly, biweekly, and Semi Monthly payrolls
- Implement, review, and refine processes to ensure payroll is processed timely and accurately.
- Responsible for communicating with all levels of management to train staff and resolve issues as they arise.
- Responsible for ensuring garnishments are properly deducted and paid to appropriate entity.
- Continuous training of payroll staff.
- Develops and maintains payroll tracking systems as needed
- Must work well with HR, IT, and Accounting to maintain integrity of payroll data.
- Assists with quarterly reconciliation between payroll records and Federal & State Reports.
- Responsible for creating ad-hoc reports as requested by management.
- Makes continuous process improvement recommendations to management.
- Other responsibilities, as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage a staff of 20+ employees
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal Candidate:
- Must have previous payroll supervisory experience and the ability to deal with a variety of time feeds and systems
- Peoplesoft payroll experience.
- CPP designation - preferred
- Experience in a high-growth, multi-site environment.
- Kronos and or Time Force time keeping systems preferred
- Horizon experience preferred but not required
- Experience in Health Care preferred but not required
- Must be Customer Service Focused
- Must be able to train end users and staff on process changes
Minimum Requirements:
- Familiarity with a variety of payroll system software and timekeeping software
- Very detail oriented
- Strong Excel / Access skills
- High integrity, confidentiality and discretion
- Team Player with excellent people and communication skills; professional demeanor
