Job Description

Position Profile
You will have responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a high volume/high acuity Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine department utilizing efficient and cost effective processes. Under the direction of the Patient Care Manager, you will provide leadership and clinical expertise, function as a role model and resource, ensure adherence to standards in patient care practice within a multi-disciplinary care setting, supervise, coordinate, evaluate and improve the delivery and quality patient care and participate in budgetary process and fiscal accountability. As a team member, you will play an important role by collaborating with others and contributing toward our mission and values.

Current California RN license.


Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification for Healthcare Providers. Two years recent clinical experience in the Emergency Department, Urgent Care, or Critical Care setting. Prior experience in a leadership or management position with progressive increase in scope of responsibilities. Experience with staffing, scheduling, performance reviews, staff development, and process improvement.


BSN, MSN or currently enrolled in a graduate nursing program. CEN, PALS, TNCC. Experience as an Assistant Nurse Manager or Supervisor in an Emergency Department setting. Outstanding customer service and communication skills expected.
