Business Analyst Job Description: The primary purpose of this position is to assist with reducing Rite Aid's supply chain costs by providing various analyses and pieces of information to interested parties. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: - Develop and manage various reporting tools and processes for the Supply Chain organization related to financial reports, operating goals and objectives, and productivity metrics.
- Actively lead and participate in Supply Chain initiatives and projects to improve processes and financial performance and develop supporting reports to manage and track results.
- Create and maintain databases for reporting and monitoring identified key performance indicators, such as Distribution Center metrics and Supply Chain operational and financial performance indicators.
- Actively participate in and/or lead meetings with vendors and any relevant agencies to identify opportunities to improve and resolve issues with merchandise flow, operational efficiencies, and expense reduction.
- Represent the Supply Chain department in category management and merchandising activities to obtain critical information for distribution to associates within the department and on cross-functional teams.
- Train associates in the corporate offices, distribution centers, and retail stores with regard to the supply chain and new processes put into place.

Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business or Finance, plus three (3) years' experience in Supply Chain-related disciplines; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
