Houston company seeks a Packager



Job Title: Software Packaging Engineer

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Build new .MSI/.MST based packages using Wise Package Studio 7.0
- Document processes, procedures, and technical issues as needed
- Perform multiple QA tests against specific corporate standards
- Coordinate / manage multiple packaging assignments

Required Experience Levels:
- 4+ years of desktop engineering / packaging experience
- In-depth knowledge of Wise Package Studio 5.x (and above)
- Strong working knowledge of VBScripts and .MSI Custom Actions
- Strong troubleshooting skills in regards to the Registry and desktop based Security
- Familiarity with many different packaging tools and utilities (Regmon, Filemon, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Citrix Presentation Server Console 4.x (and above)
- Working knowledge of SMS/SCCM; package deployment and troubleshooting
