    PACS Local System Specialist OSF Healthcare System Bloomington, IL OSF Healthcare System has a full time opportunity for a PACS Local System Specialist position available in the Management Information Systems department at OSF Saint Joseph Medical Center. This position works closely with clinical users, technicians and site administrators to ensure timely and complete capture of DICOM digital image data into the PACS system. This position is also responsible for providing system maintenance and trouble-shooting of PACS system issues and coordinating solutions with vendors. This position will act as a liaison in digital imaging initiatives within the OSF Enterprise and follow proper ITSM policies and procedures. A qualified candidate will posses a broad understanding of Radiology and Cardiology department processes/workflow and imaging dynamics as well as knowledge of healthcare delivery and management and budgeting at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Nursing, Computer Science or other closely related field. PACS knowledge, experience with the deployment and support of PACS technologies and CIIP certification is required. This position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefit program.
