    Summary of Job Duties: *Tutor students in Chemistry.
*Refer students to appropriate resources. *Assist students on computers. *Complete other duties as requested by the supervisor. Required Qualifications: *High school graduate or equivalent. *Successful completion of college level Chemistry courses through Organic Chemistry (attach unofficial transcript). *Good communication skills, including listening with understanding and patience. *Demonstrated ability in explaining concepts and solving word problems in Chemistry, both orally and in written form, in a one-to-one or small group setting. *Computer literacy. *Good work ethic. Preferred Qualifications: *Successful completion of college level Organic Chemistry courses. *Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. *Tutoring experience in Chemistry. *Willingness to learn and assist students in the use of Chemistry related application software. Salary/Benefits: $10.56 per hour. KPERS eligible position. Eligible for part-time educational and annual leave benefits.
