Plan assigned product lines and items for purchase using QAD & other tools available--most items will be Finished Goods purchased for re-sale Manage Safety Stocks & Forecasts at multiple using sites Work with Product Managers to understand market conditions affecting his/her items Issue PO's &/or Supplier Schedules for items as recommended by QAD based on planning parameters set up by this person Expedite and follow through on Purchases and Distribution Order moves Maintain proper inventory levels as provided by Management Own responsibility for all aspects of the planning & purchasing through receipt and being made available to customers Work closely with Customer Service to maintain 98% fill rate goals and to satisfy the customers Eventually participate in the Sales & Operations Planning process (S&OP) Informs Manager &/or Product Managers of problems, trends, and opportunities Prepares Excel & Word reports as needed Other duties as assigned Analytical Skills--must analyze multiple data sets, collect & research data, & use experience to augment the data Problem Solving Skills--Identify & resolve problems in a timely manner, develop alternative solutions, & work in group problem solving Technical Skills---QAD experience is essential as this requires heavy QAD work, Excel experience required Interpersonal Skills--Must be able to professionally work with peers, Distribution Centers, Finance, Customer Service, Product Management and Customers Flexibility--Must handle change well and be willing to put in the time to do the work required and put in extra time when the situation warrants If interested, please apply online at http://track.tmpservice.com/ApplyClick.aspx?id=835537-1792-6575
