Sr. FACETS Configuration Systems Analyst
This function will be a part of our newly formed Facets Shared Services organization. The person in this role will provide Facets configuration expertise in order to achieve common configuration and architecture across Facets instances within the business constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Define Facets configuration best practices
- Recommend Facets and ancillary application architecture
- Review instance specific configuration/ architecture and approve exceptions
- Design and Implement Enterprise Architecture and Interfaces including EDI
- Analyze configuration for all instances and define best practices
- Liaison with Business/IT
- Participate in Facets Upgrade impact analysis and make necessary recommendations

Qualifications
- 5+ years Health Plan Business Operations experience and/or Health Plan IT Experience in a Business or Systems analyst role
- 3+ years knowledge and experience of Facets application 4.31 or greater
- 3+ years Experience with Facets systems migration
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of configuration experience providing configuration support on Facets, preferably in a medium to large health care or related organization.
- Possess problem solving and project management skills. Must be able to take charge, manage numerous projects and successfully coordinate projects with internal areas and external
- vendors.
- Experience using a software development life-cycle methodology like the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Broad operational managed care background is preferred
- Familiarity with data structures and data types.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects.
- Excellent analytical skills including being able to present data to senior management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with all levels of personnel including, but not limited to peers and Senior Management within the organization
- Knowledge of managed care including, but not limited to claims adjudication and payment, medical management, provider fee-for-service reimbursement, capitation, billing, enrollment, and benefits.
- Strong negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to deal with a fast paced environment and make proper decisions quickly.
