POSITION
Financial Analyst

Job Description:
The Financial Analyst will provide high quality financial reports, analysis and information to key decision-making personnel in the Company including the CEO and CFO. This person will support the preparation of financial reports and statements to be distributed to both external and internal constituencies. Duties: - Prepare financial analysis including presentation materials for CFO meetings with Senior Management, employees, Board of Director, and other constituencies (30%)
- Coordinate budget, strategic and forecasting planning process for corporate departments
- Prepare analysis of actual versus budget monthly (35%)
- Complete ad hoc financial analysis for CFO and Controller (35%)
The responsibilities of this position include the following: - Prepare financial analysis including presentation materials for CFO meetings with Senior Management, employees, Board of Director, and other constituencies
- Financial reports are prepared and reviewed with the Controller and/or the CFO in a timely manner and require minimal revisions
- Make certain financial information agrees to underlying system and business unit information
- Make certain presentations and communication materials are clear and concise
- Make certain supporting material and financial data are organized clearly and well-documented
- Coordinate the budget and strategic planning process for company-wide business units and corporate departments
- Prepare analysis of actual versus budget monthly
- Communicate clear planning instructions and key milestone dates and work product expectations in a timely manner
- Aid Department Managers in the development of budgets and forecasts
- Automate the consolidation and analysis process wherever possible
- Prepare consolidated planning information and analysis in a timely manner
- Complete ad hoc financial analysis for CEO, CFO, Director of Business Development, and Controller
- Ensure that analysis is error-free and is prepared in a timely manner
This person works in a fast-paced environment under minimum supervision. This role must work with a high degree of accuracy. This person will use individual quantitative analytical capabilities to solve problems and complete analysis. Some limited travel may be required. The skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following: - Strong analytical and quantitative competencies
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

- MBA is preferred
