Basic Qualifications:

Must possess five or more years in the field of Training and Development as a facilitator/ trainer.

- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or related field or an equivalent combination of formal education, training, and experience.

- Demonstrated experience facilitating groups at various employment levels.

- Demonstrated experience evaluating program effectiveness and continuously improving program and operational processes.

- Demonstrated experience working with adult learning theory.

- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to build working relationships at all levels in the organization and with external vendors.

- Demonstrated experience managing and/or performing multiple projects and assignments, often under tight time constraints and changing priorities.

- Demonstrated experience consulting with management on leadership and/or management development program.

- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

Typical Responsibilities:

This position will primarily act as a facilitator/trainer for various Learning and Development courses in addition to compliance, professional and leadership training programs, with an emphasis on in-class training. This position will work closely with an administrative and analytical support group responsible for program logistics, scheduling, and reporting as well as with other HR Consultants within the Learning and Development team. This position may be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities for current and or future learning and development programs. The successful candidate will develop, prepare, and maintain classroom curriculum as appropriate. The candidate will evaluate curricula and facilitator effectiveness and impacts to individual and organizational performance; will conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions as necessary and may be required to serve as a consultant supporting instructional materials and subject matter resources for the company; working with internal communications group to best promote current and future Learning and Development programs; and other duties as assigned. Travel might be required to Edison site locations.
