VRS Analyst/Configurator

This position combines the roles of a business analyst and a software configurator. The position requires meeting with the customer, participating in and/or facilitating JADD sessions, documenting business requirements, and implementing these requirements using proprietary tools.

Configuration involves the use of Visual Basic scripting, knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts, layout of documents using Microsoft Word. A strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are essential.

Report generation using commercial reporting tools.

REQUIRED

At least 3 years experience in a Business Analyst or software development role. Able to use Microsoft Office tools. Clear writing style and fluency in spoken English. Familiarity with Relational Database concepts and basic knowledge of SQL.

Desired

Specific experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Basic Scripting. Previous work experience n the health care and/or vital records industry. Experience with commercial banded reporting tools (Report Builder, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Data Analysis Services.)

Education

BS in Computer Science or related curriculum or compensating work experience.
