Job Summary:

The Staffing Manager will oversee and manage the company’s domestic recruitment and staffing functions. This position will report to the VP of HR. The Staffing Manager will also work closely with our senior executives and hiring managers. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of successfully managing a staffing organization within a high technology company.



Responsibilities:

In this role, the primary responsibilites will include (but are not limited to):

  • Educate and guide hiring managers (VPs Directors, Human Resource Business Partners, corporate HR groups etc) in recruiting best practices and strategies, legal requirements, and company interviewing guidelines.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to develop recruitment goals, strategies and metrics for success.
  • Develop a recruiting brand for the company in conjunction with Internal Communications and the HR team.
  • Act as a consultant and liaison amongst the client group, human resources, and staffing organizations.
  • Monitor, track, report, and analyze staffing metrics.
  • Ensure consistent corporate image throughout recruiting campaigns.
  • Design and implement high effective, results-driven recruiting strategies for domestic and international hiring.
  • Partner with parent company to leverage recruiting strategies and resources.
  • Source potential candidates through all applicable means, including cold calling, internet posting and search, networking, employee referrals, community-based partnerships, etc.
  • Provide feedback to hiring managers based on candidate skills and experience as required by the position, and soliciting detailed interview feedback from hiring managers in order to ensure selection of the most qualified candidates.
  • Conduct thorough and objective referencing, including responsibility for obtaining applicable background checks.
  • Negotiate and communicate effective employment offers, partnering with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Manage, support, train two contract recruiters and one staffing coordinator on internal staffing processes, procedures, customer support expectations, resources and business requirements.
  • Manage contractual relationships with agencies, research firms, contract recruiters; job boards, job fairs and various internet job search websites.
  • Assist with other HR projects as needed.


Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successfully managing a staffing organization within a high tech company.
  • Minimum 3 years experience of full-cycle in-house recruiting and solid knowledge of all areas of staffing, including recruitment, university relations, sourcing, and overall staffing management
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced high volume environment under the pressure of competing demands and high delivery expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative problem solver and team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Proven organizational skills, including the ability to work effectively on multiple tasks
  • Strong computer skills, (Microsoft Office, automated recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, and HRIS systems)

Education:

  • BS/BA
