DUTIES - Manage technical and management concepts and approaches as part of the proposal strategy.
- Oversee the development proposal elements and monitor proposal schedule.
- Author proposal sections, plan, and create oral presentation materials for submission to Government customers.
- Prepare bids, research, organize, write, edit, and produce pertinent data elements in support of proposal activities.
- Compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications.
- Coordinate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments.
- Ensure accuracy and adequacy of final work product, including in-process and final reviews, editing for compliance with applicable standards, validation and change verification, and Company Style Manual.
- Ensure that there are no inconsistencies between cost and technical volumes Participate in should-cost/pricing reviews and as a member of the contract negotiating team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION Bachelor degree in a technical or business discipline. MBA preferred. EXPERIENCE 10 - 14 years with Bachelor's degree or 8 - 12 years with MBA to include: - 2 years at Proposal Manger level preparing Government proposals
- Business Development support
- Managed proposals including multi-function proposals
- Thorough knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Intermediate skill using Microsoft Office Suite
