The Data Management Coordinator will fulfill a key role in developing metrics and supporting continuous improvement within the Supplier Quality Assurance team. Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Serves as the focal point for A&IT projects for Supplier Quality Assurance.
  • Provides timely, comprehensive regulatory surveillance information, analysis and recommended actions for the Supplier Quality Assurance team.
  • Develops and executes systems to support the implementation and ongoing administration of scorecards for Suppliers. This includes the development and implementation of appropriate metrics, data gathering and evaluation, generation of routine reports to communicate status and performance, and the development of recommended actions to improve Supplier performance.
  • Identifies trends and/or root cause(s) to help develop new initiatives and process improvements. Assists in the preparation, coordination and delivery of Quality Senior Management presentations at management conferences, training programs, Quality Council, Supplier Quality Assurance leadership meetings, etc.
  • Establishes and maintains liaison with external professional organizations and agencies with respect to Suppliers and Quality Performance Improvement.
  • Responsible for serving on teams when Quality representation is needed.
  • Maintains various Supplier Quality Assurance databases.
  • Conducts problem solving events using lean six sigma tools.
  • Responsible for leading projects for supplier quality improvements and/or supplier efficiencies using lean six sigma tools.
  • Provides quality consultation and review on quality agreements and specifications.
  • Authors technical documents such as Policies, Procedures, Guidelines and provides key input to the Supplier Book of Knowledge.
  • Develops supply chain maps for each supplier.
  • Serves as the area MIDAS coordinator/steward and SOP/Quality Manual Coordinator.
  • Participates in external benchmarking and internal voice of customer analyses for best practices management.
  • Provides coverage and assumes the grant of authority in the absence of the Strategic Initiatives Manager. Works directly with the Director, Supplier Quality Assurance on select projects.

Qualifications

Education:
  • BS/BA degree in an Engineering, Science, or Business field.
Required:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in commercial, business, quality, technical or manufacturing operations functions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements that govern GMPs (e.g. CFR and Eudralex)
  • Experience writing SOPs, Policies, and/or Guidelines.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel to enter data and use formulas to calculate information.
  • Experience developing PowerPoint slides and delivering presentations to management.
  • Excellent analytical and computer skills, including software packages used in the maintenance and analysis of data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently with all levels of the organization along with strong planning/organization skills.
Preferred:
  • Experience using Lean Six Sigma tools, particularly Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
  • Familiarity with the MMD Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Experience operating a database to enter, store, retrieve, and trend data and well as document management (e.g. MIDAS, Documentum, Panagon).
  • Experience developing process flowcharts and using Microsoft Visio.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project to assist in developing project plans and timelines.
