Backpacks for those eager to return to school. Toys for those who Santa Claus can't find. Donations that go straight to the heart. This is your Palmetto General Hospital.
At Palmetto General Hospital, we love our community. From the neighborhood that surrounds us to the people that work the hospital floors, we extend our helping-hands and care for those who are a part of it. When our community grew, we expanded our ER. When our staff needed help, we responded with state-of-the-art medical equipment.
Our commitment began over 30 years ago as we responded to a community in need of a dedicated hospital like Palmetto. Today as a modern Tenet Healthcare facility, we continue our responsibility. We've been rated six times as "Top 100" hospitals in the nation by Solucient. We're also the largest donator to the American Heart Association. And, our community programs range from contributions & giveaways to education for recent graduates.
The faces in our community are a proud reminder of why we do what we do.
We are excited to announce our brand new state of the art unit including a ten bed CVICU, two Open Heart surgical suites and two new cath labs. Be a part of the beginning of the only Open Heart unit in Hialeah. |
