Responsibilities:

Assist Sr. Director of Special Markets to support marketing and sales efforts for Adult and Children's books to key specialty accounts. This includes but is not limited to:

· Daily account maintenance (processing and tracking account orders, monitoring and evaluating inventory & pricing for key accounts, preparing sell sheets and PowerPoint presentations for account meetings).

· Day to day management efforts and help with administrative duties.

· Order processing, price & availability, customer service and general correspondence with top educational accounts.

· Work closely with our HarperOne imprint to promote their titles to key accounts.

· Trade show participation and some travel are required.

· Attend weekly staff meetings, monthly department meetings, title brainstorming meetings, and launch editorial presentations.

Qualifications:

Moderate prior relevant work experience.College level understanding of and use of the English language; Individual must be a self-motivator who is well organized, detailed-oriented, and able to set priorities in a fast paced sales department. Must be professional and timely in handling account inquiries and interacting with our editorial and marketing departments.Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Individual must also have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Must possess college degree or equivalent work experience.
