Job Description
Provides administrative and staff support services of moderate complexity to the P-8 MMA test team, including the Project Officers and engineers. May assist the technical writing team routing and tracking of pre-publication draft reports. May serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to information technology, procurement/purchasing, personnel, facilities and operations. Experience with data management is required as position will need to manage and manipulate the report tracking data base on a day-to-day basis. Some light lifting; moderately sedentary; some walking and stair climbing is required throughout the squadron/hangar/parking areas. There are no elevators in the hangars, and parking can be several hundred yards from building location. This position requires extensive hand-carried routing efforts throughout the document review/publication process.
Required Skills
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required. Must have two (2) years experience supporting a ACAT-ID test program. Must be knowledgeable of military test and evaluation programs and familiar with the acquisition process for ACAT-ID systems/aircraft. Ability to interface extensively with various levels of government, military and contractor personnel in a positive manner, even under strenuous situations. Must be able to adapt to changing deadlines as project/acquisition priorities fluctuate. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Access database management, update/data entry, query and report functions. Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a clearance at the SECRET level.
