We now are offering Knauf EcoBattâ Insulation which doesn't look like any insulation you've ever seen. That's because its natural brown color represents a level of sustainability never before achieved. Knauf's new ECOSEâ Technology reduces binder embodied energy by up to 70% and does not contain phenol, formaldehyde, acrylics, or artificial colors used to make traditional fiberglass insulation.

Due to successful growth, we are looking to fill a MARKETING MANAGER position llocated in our corporate office in Shelbyville, Indiana. This position is responsible for protecting, growing, and continuously improving the current market segment; and for defining new market channels to achieve corporate sales and profitability results in both short-term and long-term time frames.
  • Identifies marketing opportunities; designs and implements marketing plans.
  • Defines executable strategies for the sales team which supports the value proposition, promotional strategy, or branding position
  • Researches customer and market segments.
  • Conducts competitive assessments.
  • Monitors effectiveness of marketing and promotions programs.
  • Provides direction to and represents Knauf in industry associations and trade shows.
  • Manages and participates in customer training schools.
  • Monitors product quality through customer contact.
  • Administers product pricing.
  • Establishes, defines, controls, and channels co-op promotions, advertising programs, and guidelines

Job Requirements:

  • BS degree in Marketing or Business
  • Minimum of five (5) years of marketing experience; building trades industry preferred
  • Experience with an ERP system, SAP preferred
  • Knowledge of the sales process within the building industry
  • Fundamental understanding of distribution channel dynamics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to manage time & be detail-oriented
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & Outlook; proficient in Microsoft Office Word & PowerPoint
