Technical Writer (304276-636): CommVault

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support our growing documentation needs. The ideal candidate will be a good writer with a proven ability to write technical documentation in a fast-paced environment. In addition to having absolute command over basic skills, you need to have good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Improve the quality and coverage of existing documentation.
• Develop and maintain new documentation, including product overviews, step-by-step how-to procedures, troubleshooting information and best practices.
• Contribute to the overall structure of the documentation set.
  

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in technical writing, with experience in developing and maintaining documentation in a team-based environment.
• Ability to understand technology, demonstrated either by an engineering degree, or years of engineering experience, or previous experience as a writer of high-quality technical documentation.
• Technical experience in the following areas is a plus:
  • Strong writing skills with experience in writing and maintaining web-based documentation.
  • Experience in online documentation tools such as FrontPage, HTML and source control software is an additional plus.
  • Windows/Unix/Database Systems Administration expertise
  • SAN/NAS technologies
  • Other industry leading storage management applications
