Job Description
EDUCATION: B.S. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
o Minimum 3 years experience in Marketing or Engineering in the power transmission and distribution industry with the ability to work systematically on marketing related issues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main responsibility, as a member of the Surge Arrester Marketing group, will be to support increasing the market share in the high and medium voltage surge arrester business and will include:
o Evaluating customer specifications in order to select the appropriate product.
o Creating competitive quotations, follow-up, win/loss analysis.
o Order negotiations with external customers.
o Order clarification with internal and external partners.
o Monitoring open orders.
o Consulting the customer in all questions related to surge arresters.
o Supporting the planning process.
o Supporting the definition, development and implementation of sales channels.
o Developing competency with internal and external customers.
INTERFACE/COMMUNICATION:
o External: with end-users, distributors and other customer groups
o Internal: Siemens sales force and the local and German supply chain.
