Senior Database Engineer

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic and fast-growing team of developers that design, implement and maintain content Infrastructure. The job involves ongoing design, implementation and maintenance of complex software.

Role:

The Senior Database Engineer is responsible for development of Content Infrastructure and rapid fingerprint development framework. As such, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong technical skills with expertise in Databases and SQL. A firm understanding of UNIX and Windows command environments and scripting technology is required.

Work Experience:

• RDBMS systems and SQL scripting

• Object oriented programming (Java / C#)

• XML and DTD design

• Script development (Perl, Shell, AWK, SED, VBScript)

• UNIX and Windows command and utilities

• Network programming (TCP/IP)

Education:

• Masters degree in computer science or equivalent

• Three Years Relevant Experience

Personal Qualities:

• Self starter, willing to take initiative in solving difficult problems

• Ability to work both independently and in small teams

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Resourceful
