Pagination Quality Assurance Specialist

To proofread source data provided for residential, business and classified listing and mark up corrections as needed.

In this position, you will be called upon to:

  • Follow pagination guidelines to proofread final printer ready pages prepared for residential, business, front of book pages and specialty products.
  • Review final Yellow Page directory products in accordance with department production and graphic standards.

Your main qualifications include:

  • Bachelors in English or Journalism preferred.
  • 2 – 3 years experience as a proof reader.
  • Must be experienced with all typical office equipment and computers and proficient in Microsoft office.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, commitment to producing quality product, deadline conscious.
  • Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Your other skills include:

  • Flexibility to work under tight deadlines.
  • Results and teamwork-oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle concurrent projects and demonstrate flexibility within a fast-paced and frequently changing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Professional and document imaging, a plus.
  • Work experience with a publications company, a plus.
