Plant Controller: The Albrecht Group

My client a $90M manufacturer located in Eastern North Carolina (approximately 50 miles east of Raleigh , N.C. ) is seeking an experienced Plant Controller . The incumbent will be accountable for the fiduciary/financial integrity of the Accounting/Finance function of the company.

Responsibilities:

· Provide management with accurate financial information on a timely basis

· S upervise activities of accounting department

· Provide leadership and management to ensure that individual growth, continuous improvement, and total quality applications are realized

· Develop and maintain cost/profit operational/product reporting systems

· Revenue Recognition - appropriate timing/amount of invoicing for all categories of sales

· Prepare, in conjunction with responses to Internal and External Audit reports and follow-up to insure corrective action is both taken and sustained where indicated

Requirements:

· BS/BA Accounting (CPA, CMA and/or MBA is a STRONG PLUS )

· 5 + years related job experience in a manufacturing environment

· Strong background in cost accounting, cost analysis, credit and collections

· Experience in distribution and inventory control is essential
