The Portfolio Manager is a high-profile
position that oversees all Apple campus uniformed security operations in the
United States. The manager works directly for the Apple Global Security
Director and has the primary responsibility is to oversee and coordinate the
various uniformed security operations and special events at different Apple
facilities. The manager will work with both site management at the
various locations and Apple Global Security staff. The manager must
have strong interpersonal, security, and organization skills, and be an
enthusiastic leader who drives security services among the different groups. Customer
service is a key element in this position.
The Manager will ensure that the terms of the contract are clearly executed
and understood by both SIS Managers and Apple Global Security.
Responsibilities will include:
o
Direct
oversight of all uniformed security operations to ensure operational
requirements are met in accordance with SIS and Apple Global Security Policy
o
Ensure
high levels of customer service, integrity and compliance per SIS policy
o
Maintain
close coordination and communicate regularly with Apple Global Security on
current events and special projects
o
Develop
and implement programs to ensure technical competency with physical security
operations
o
Direct
change management with personnel, policy and procedures
o
Oversee
contractual obligations and manage SIS/Apple budget
o
Collaborate
with Apple Global Security on creation and implementation of security
programs
o
Maintain
relationships with Federal, State and Local law enforcement and other related
government agencies in support of private-public partnership initiatives.
Requirements:
1.
Bachelors
Degree preferred with minimum of 10 years experience in Security, Law
Enforcement, Military or related field with demonstrated leadership and
project management success.
2.
Broad
base experience in planning and management of large scale security programs.
3.
Strong
analytical, organizational and decision making skills.
4.
Seasoned
in high level presentation, interaction and collaboration with executive
management.
5.
Extensive
domestic and minimal international travel required.
