Licensed Psychotherapist - Fee-for-Service - SOUTH SHORE: Jewish Family and Childrens Service - JF&CS

Position Summary:
Assesses and provides direct service to adult clients including individual and family therapy. Primarily home visits to older adults. Performs intake evaluations. Is an active member of the mental health team and works collaboratively with staff from other agency programs as appropriate.

Essential Job Functions:
• Responsible for carrying a clinical caseload .
• Performs intake evaluations.
• Attends and participates actively in all staff meetings that are held in Waltham.
• Completes all paperwork and billing in a timely manner as prescribed by program and agency policy.
• Active participation in a consultative relationship with supervisor.
• Assumes responsibility for own professional development both inside and outside of agency.

Educational/Experience Requirements:
• Licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Social Workers as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.
• Individual must have solid knowledge of psychopathology and intervention skills.
• Must have competence in conducting an initial assessment and in the development and implementation of an appropriate treatment plan.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, outlook, power point)
